Lamine Yamal Injury: Aiming to return against Chelsea

Yamal (groin) could see limited minutes Saturday versus Athletic with the objective of a full return in the next Champions League meeting with Chelsea, Miguel Casado of El Desmarque reports.

Yamal missed the recent World Cup qualifying matches with Spain following treatment for his pubalgia issue. While he's not completely ruled out for the upcoming La Liga matchup, the team's goal seems to be for him to play a significant role in UCL. His potential return would be a massive boost to a squad that would otherwise rely on Ferran Torres and Marcus Rashford or, if fit, Raphinha (thigh) on the wings.
