Liam Delap Injury: Suffers hamstring injury
Delap was forced off in the 13rd minute of Saturday's 2-0 victory against Fulham due to a serious hamstring injury that could leave him sidelined for six to eight weeks, coach Enzo Maresca said in a press conference, according to Bein Sports. "Injury doesn't look good. He was full speed, hamstring, so that requires weeks. Usually six to eight weeks."
Delap suffered a serious hamstring injury in the first half of Saturday's clash against the Cottagers, forcing him off the pitch in the 13th minute. The number nine was replaced by Tyrique George, who could see increased playing time for Chelsea if the examinations confirms the serious injury to Delap.
