Lucas Pires News: First half red card

Pires was shown a red card in the 43rd minute of Saturday's 2-1 loss to Newcastle.

Pires was shown his marching orders in the first half of Saturday's outing, sent off after denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Luckily for the club, this was only his second appearance of the season, so it will be a small hit to the club. He will be suspended to face Fulham next match, returning to face Bournemouth on Dec. 20.
