Lukas Engel News: Loan expires

Engel's loan to Cincinnati has expired and will return to Middlesbrough.

Engel met expectations, proving extremely helpful to Cincinnati. He started 33 of 36 games (including playoffs), contributed to four goals, and recorded 118 clearances, 56 tackles, and 12 blocks, while maintaining two clean sheets. With his loan expiring, he will return to Middlesbrough at the start of 2026.
