Martin Odegaard Injury: Some distance from return
Odegaard is still working on a return and is "still some distance away" from a return, according to Norwegian national team manager Stale Solbakken, per Ryan Taylor of Football.London. "It is steady. It is going in a steady direction, but he is some distance away. He will fly in [to Oslo] after his rehab on Thursday. Then he will continue his rehab with us and will be with us from Thursday afternoon. I don't know when the flight leaves. But he will be with us until Milan."
Odegaard has been out since the start of October due to a knee injury and is still working on progressing through his rehabilitation, although he is still some ways away from a return. That said, it appears the Norwegian will not be playing with his national team as expected due to his injuries, just traveling with them for training and support. He is still hopeful about a return after the break, but this does raise some concerns for the midfielder, appearing to be in a race to be fit for Arsenal's return against Tottenham on Nov. 23.
