Matheus Nascimento News: LA Galaxy loan extended

Nascimento will continue to play for Los Angeles Galaxy with his loan from Brazilian club Botafogo extended through June 30 with a purchase option, the team announced Friday.

Nascimento is likely to retain a role in the Galaxy's front line at least for the first half of 2026. Therefore, he'll look to improve on his 2025 season totals of three goals and two assists over 22 MLS appearances (13 starts). During the previous campaign, he also tallied three goals and one assist in four Leagues Cup games.
