Matt Doherty Injury: Given multi-week timeline

Doherty is expected to be out a couple weeks with an MCL injury, according to the team doctors. "...The ligament on the inside of the knee that connects the femur to the tibia, and in basic terms stops the lower leg going out to the side, he stretched that a little. It's fairly minor, but it will definitely keep him out for a couple of weeks, unfortunately."

Fortunately, Doherty doesn't need surgery, as some rest and rehab seems to be enough for him. There's a chance he'll be back before the month is over, but given that he's 33, they'll likely lean to the slower side of things in terms of a return. Wolves still don't have a manager, so Doherty will hope to get back his fitness when that does happen to show he deserves time on the pitch.
