Nick Pope Injury: Could return Friday

Pope (groin) could train on Tuesday and and has a chance to be available for Friday's clash against Manchester United, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference, according to Craig Hope from the Daily Mail.

Pope has been training with the team in recent weeks and could return to team training again on Tuesday, with the hope he can be deemed fit for Friday's clash against Manchester United. The goalkeeper was expected to return against Chelsea and now has another chance to be back against the Red Devils. That said, if he were to miss a seventh game in a row across all competitions, Aaron Ramsdale will start again between the posts for the Magpies.
