Duran was forced off at the break during Sunday's 2-0 victory against Real Madrid due to a shoulder issue, coach Claudio Giraldez confirmed in a press conference, according to Moi Celeste. "He's a beast. He endured the pain. It was important to conserve energy after the Cup match. We wanted to hold out as long as possible. He's been dealing with some shoulder discomfort, and we hope it's nothing serious. We want to thank him for his courage and physical effort; a player with immense determination."

Duran has been dealing with shoulder discomfort and was forced off at the break of Sunday's victory against the Merengues. The forward will be assessed in the coming days to know if he can play in the upcoming fixtures. If he had to miss some time, captain Iago Aspas will likely get a larger role in the attack for the Celeste.
