Piero Hincapie Injury: Dealing with shoulder injury

Hincapie was out for Tuesday's EFL Cup win due to an injured shoulder suffered in the win against Everton, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference. "With Piero, yeah, something different because he picked up an injury against Everton."

There had been a rumor floating around Hincapie ahead of Tuesday's match and then he completely missed the game. It's not believed to be serious, but it still is a worry given that Gabriel is nearing a return. Hincapie will have a few days of rest available to him ahead of Saturday's match against Brighton. In his absence, Riccardo Calafiori moved to center-back against Crystal Palace.
