Ilie has been loaned to Empoli from Nice for the 2024/25 season.

Ilie is spending the next season away from his parent club, as the midfielder will head to the second tier in Italy to link up with Empoli. He only appeared in two games all of the 2024/25 season and will hope to gain some experience while on loan that leads to time once he returns to France.
