Rasmus Kristensen Injury: Available against Qarabag

Kristensen (face) is available for Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag and will wear a mask, new coach Dennis Schmitt said in the press conference. "Rasmus isn't thrown off course by anything so quickly. He's available and will play with a mask."

Kristensen suffered a face injury in Friday's draw against Bremen but is doing fine and will be able to play while wearing a mask. The defensive midfield has been an undisputed starter for the eagles this season and his role is unlikely to change under new coach Dennis Schmitt. That said, if he had to start Wednesday's Champions League clash against Qarabag on the bench, Ritsu Doan will likely play on the right flank in a deeper role on the pitch.
