Asencio scored a header in the 65th minute Saturday off an Arda Guler assist, a goal which took the 2-0 lead and secured the win for Madrid. It marked his second goal of the season, both of which have come in the last two matches. He took a season-high three shots and added one chance created on the attack. He also kept his fourth clean sheet of the season as he and his fellow defender did not allow a single shot on target.
