Veiga has completed a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Villarreal, his former club announced Friday.

Veiga spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Juventus and was one of the candidates to leave the club this summer. He will have far more chances to play regularly in Spain due to his positional versatility, as he can play both as a left-back and center-back.
