Ricardo Rodriguez Injury: Available to return Sunday

Rodriguez (strain) is available for Sunday's game against Girona, manager Manuel Pellegrini told media during Friday's pre-match press conference. "We only have Pau Lopez out due to injury, so the rest of the squad is fit and ready to play Sunday."

Rodriguez was dealing with a muscular problem before the international break and was already expected to return to action, so this is not a surprising development. The left-back will compete with Junior Firpo (hamstring) and Valentin Gomez for minutes on the left side of the defense.
