Robin Lod News: Transfers to Chicago

Lod completed a move to Chicago Fire after leaving Minnesota United ahead of the 2026 campaign, his new club announced Friday.

Lod finished the previous season with six goals and four assists across 37 MLS matches. He'll now look to earn a starting spot in his new team's midfield, where he'll compete with Sergio Oregel and Dje D'Avilla. The Finland international could be reliable for offensive stats if he can improve on his 2025 season averages of 1.1 shots (0.5 on goal) and 1.0 chances created per game.
