Romano Schmid News: Converts penalty in win

Schmid scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Monchengladbach.

Schmid's second half penalty conversion marked Werder Bremen's third goal and put the fixture beyond reach as they handedly defeated Monchengladbach 4 - 0. In addition to his goal, the midfielder created three chances from three cross and corner attempts, respectively. After scoring five times across 32 starting appearances during the 2024 - 2025 Bundesliga season, Schmid has already netted two goals in his first three appearances (three starts) to begin the 2025 - 2026 campaign.
