Ross Barkley News: Dealing with personal problem

Barkley is dealing with a personal problem and is not available for the time being, manager Unai Emery told media during Friday's pre-match press conference. "We have not available as well, [Ross] Barkley. He has a personal issue, and I think he will come back or he will be available soon, but not yet," Emery said.

Emery didn't reveal the nature of the problem, but it doesn't seem as if the veteran midfielder will be close to returning to action in the near future. Barkley has yet to play for Villa this season, but he's not expected to have a large role in the squad even when he's fit and ready to return.
