Ryan Yates News: First start of the season

Yates made his first start during Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Swansea in the Carabao Cup.

Yates was a consistent part of the squad last season, but has been very limited in the 2025/26 campaign. He got his first start of the season in the Carabao Cup and played well, but couldn't stave off elimination. With the cup exit, Yates could find minutes tough to come by, as he's likely set for a minor role in the Premier League.
