Tai Baribo News: Traded to D.C. United

Baribo has completed a transfer to D.C. United from Philadelphia, according to his new club.

Baribo is the first major transfer of the MLS offseason, as the forward is leaving Philadelphia after three seasons, joining D.C. on a five-year deal. This comes after he finished tied for fifth in the league for goals last season, scoring 18 while adding three assists in 32 appearances (23 starts). He is likely to fill the spot of Christian Benteke after his departure from the club after the campaign.
