Minamino suffered an important injury in the 36th minute of Sunday's 2-1 win against Auxerre in the French Cup and an ACL injury is feared, coach Sebastien Pocognoli said in a press conference, according to Vivien Seiller from Nice Matin. "Taki is in the hospital. I don't know what's wrong with him yet. I don't know if it could be a torn ACL. We hope it's not too serious, but the initial tests weren't very positive."

Minamino suffered a serious injury in Sunday's French Cup win and was stretched off the pitch before the break. The Japanese forward was sent to the hospital, and the first scans weren't positive, as an ACL injury is feared by the staff. This would be a big blow for the Monegasques since he is an undisputed starter in the frontline, and his absence would force a change in the starting XI, with Ansu Fati as the main candidate to start if he remains fit.
