Basic received a two-game ban for striking an opponent in the chest with his fist and forearm away from the action, the League announced.

Basic will have to sit out the fixtures against Cremonese and Udinese. Matias Vecino will absorb his playing time in the middle with little depth behind him since Fisayo Dele-Bashiro has left for AFCON 2025.
