Umar Sadiq News: Returns to Valencia

Sadiq transferred to Valencia from Real Sociedad and signed a contract through July 2028, the club announced Thursday.

Sadiq barely played a role in the rotation of a Real Sociedad side that opted for Mikel Oyarzabal and Goncalo Guedes for the most part this season. Having yet to score or assist in the current La Liga season, the Nigerian striker is now aiming to get more opportunities in a second stint with Valencia, for whom he already recorded five goals in 16 matches played over the 2024/25 season. Still, he'll be in contention with strong attackers such as Hugo Duro.
