Atlanta – As Craig Kimbrel received a rest, Jonny Venters picked up his fifth save of the year with a scoreless ninth in a 3-0 game. Venters was uncharacteristically wild, walking two, but he also struck out two batters. Venters' ERA sits at a pristine 1.10, and he remains the best reliever in many fantasy formats.

Recommended Pickup

Jose Tabata, OF, PIT - Tabata was drafted in most leagues, but he was also dropped in many after struggling a bit and losing a month and a half with a quad injury. Tabata is healthy again, and his numbers since returning August 16 indicate that he is worthy of a roster spot again. In his first seven games back, Tabata went 12-for-29 (.414) with a home run, three RBI, and nine runs scored. Tabata might not be available in your league, but if for some reason he still is, make a move now.

Other recent recommendations: Alex White, Ramon Ramirez, Mike Trout, Stephen Strasburg, Will Venable
