Austin Nola News: Nabs NRI pact with Atlanta

Atlanta signed Nola to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training Tuesday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Nola got into 14 games with the Rockies in 2025, going just 7-for-38 at the plate. The 35-year-old could get a chance to compete for the backup catcher job if Atlanta winds up trading Sean Murphy, but Nola will most likely offer experienced organizational depth at Triple-A Gwinnett.
