Seth Brown Injury: Becomes free agent

The Athletics released Brown (elbow) on Wednesday.

Before the Athletics placed him on the injured list June 17 due to left elbow lateral epicondylitis, Brown struggled mightily in the majors this season, slashing .185/.303/.262 with one home run, three RBI and one stolen base over 76 plate appearances. The 32-year-old outfielder will now look to find work with a new organization once he's back to full health.
