Gleyber Torres

Torres inked a one-year, $15 million contract with the Tigers last season and put together a solid campaign with 16 home runs, 74 RBI, 79 runs and a .256/.358/.387 slash line in 145 games. The second baseman's average and slugging percentage were nearly identical from 2024, but he improved his on-base percentage nearly 30 points due to a 13.8 percent walk rate. He's back with Detroit on the qualifying offer for 2026, which should provide him a decent floor for run production given the surrounding lineup. Considering the similar numbers Torres posted the past two seasons, he should be expected to provide around 15 home runs, 70 RBI and 80 runs in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
