J.T. Ginn

Ginn made 16 starts for the Athletics in 2025, though he also spent a month during the middle of the season working out of the bullpen. The right-hander pitched decent as a reliever with a 4.11 ERA and 19:1 K:BB across 15.1 frames, but his 5.28 ERA and 1.43 WHIP as a starter left a lot to be desired. Ginn was able to miss bats in both roles with a 75th percentile whiff rate (28.7 percent), but he also gave up a lot of hard contact. The strikeout potential provides some upside, while a 3.68 xFIP as a starter offers the possibility of positive regression. Ginn particularly struggled when pitching at home in Sacramento, and his 3.14 road ERA illustrates some value as a streaming option.
