2026 Fantasy Outlook
Hernandez showed early promise in Rookie Ball back in 2019, but his development stalled during the pandemic years, and he didn't reach the majors until last May despite a modest .220/.319/.454 line at Triple-A Jacksonville. He appeared in 87 games, starting in a part-time role before working his way into regular at-bats late in the season. His hard-hit and barrel rates are above average, and although he rarely chases, he still struck out 26.2 percent of the time. With solid walk rates and 84th percentile speed, Hernandez has the tools to emerge as a late bloomer if he can rein in the strikeouts. He's serviceable in a corner outfield spot and may also see time at designated hitter. In deeper draft-and-hold formats, he's worth a speculative pick in the later rounds. Read Past Outlooks
