Endy Rodriguez

Rodriguez could end up following the path blazed by David Fry this past season. Rodriguez's season ended in June after his elbow came up lame while warming up between innings and he required a nerve transposition surgery in mid-August. That is not the same as the Tommy John surgery Fry required, but it is likely Rodriguez will not be ready to catch or play first base when he makes it back to the big leagues. As it were, he is only first base eligible on draft day, which makes it very tough to consider him for most fantasy managers. Especially when you consider we have not seen a full season of play from him, at any level, in two seasons and his days at catcher are likely over with the organization adding more options.
