Grichuk missed a few weeks in April but otherwise hit well in 64 games for the Rockies last season with a .308/.365/.496 slash line, but he struggled to a .676 OPS in 54 contests after being shipped to the Angels. His strikeout and walk rates were both slightly better than his career figures, and overall he rebounded with his best wRC+ (100) since 2020. He had a .694 OPS against right-handed pitchers compared to a .995 OPS versus lefties, and after signing with the Diamondbacks in February, Grichuk appears headed for a short-side platoon role.
