Josh Bell

Josh Bell

33-Year-Old First Baseman1B
Minnesota Twins
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Bell has become a league-average hitter the past three seasons (104 wRC+ in 2023, 101 wRC+ in 2024 and 107 wRC+ in 2025) which has made him replaceable. He's bounced between seven teams in the last four years. His next team will be the Twins where he'll try to fill a void at first base and add some needed power. Bell declined last season to hit just 19 home runs with a career-low .725 OPS. His underlying metrics were better, however, as he ranked in the 75th percentile in Barrel% and 73rd percentile in Hard-Hit%, per Baseball Savant. He may have some upside as a result but it's hard to expect much more at age 33. He'll be a needed right-handed bat in a lefty-dominated lineup. He had just a .552 OPS vs. lefties last season, but that's likely an aberration as the switch hitter has never had strong platoon splits in his career (.751 OPS vs. LHP). He'll get everyday duty between first base and DH but could be on the move again if the Twins fall out of the playoff race. Read Past Outlooks
