Moncada has now been in the majors for parts of 10 seasons, and "parts" is doing some heavy lifting in that sentence. Moncada has only played what would resemble a full season in four of those 10 seasons and he once again failed to even accumulate 450 plate appearances with the Angels after signing a one-year deal with them in the offseason. Knee, hand and ankle problems caused him to miss nearly half the season, but when he did play, he was somewhat productive. He accepted his walks and hit 12 homers in 84 games, but his .234 average was not as helpful. He has not driven in more than 60 runs or scored as many as 75 runs since that last full season in 2021, and given his track record, that is unlikely to change in 2026 wherever he signs this winter.
