Frazier is returning to where it all began. After moving on from the Pirates in 2021, then playing with four different teams, he's back in the Steel City on a one-year deal where he'll serve as a super-utility with the ability to play infield and outfield. Last season with the Royals was the first he didn't play regularly since 2019 as his already weak Hard-Hit rate dropped even more while he posted a career high strikeout rate. The Pirates infield isn't exactly stacked with potential All-Stars, but Frazier will need to regain some exit velocity to be anything more than an occasional fill in.
