2024 Fantasy Outlook

Daniel was limited to just 29.1 innings in the minors in 2023 because of shoulder trouble, but he was healthy enough to make three appearances for the Angels to end the year, and he allowed no runs in two of those three chances. He also pitched well in the Arizona Fall League after the season with 1.89 ERA and 25/5 K/BB in 19 innings, and he's expected to compete for a rotation spot this spring. The 26-year-old doesn't have an elite fastball as the pitch rarely gets above 93 mph, but he throws four unique offerings and is generally in the strike zone with his arsenal.
