Estrada established career-best marks across multiple categories in 2025, including games played (77 - 4th among relievers), innings pitched (73.0) and holds (30 - T-5th). The 27-year-old also led qualified relievers with 108 strikeouts, ranked fifth with a 35.5 percent strikeout rate and 10th with a 26.6 K-BB percentage. Walks were still an issue, but his 8.9 percent rate was also a career-best. Estrada did have trouble with the long ball, serving up 12 homers last season after not permitting more than four during any previous campaign. On the plus side, his splitter was filthy, ranking third in the league for that pitch type in both BAA (.127) and whiff percentage (47.5). It's a pitch he threw more often last season (23 percent pitch usage) after adding it to his arsenal in 2024.
