Maintaining 2022's 158 wRC+ was going to be a challenge. Sure enough, Meneses regressed to 97 wRC+ in his sophomore season. However, last year, he plummeted to a 68 wRC+ and was demoted to Triple-A Rochester in early July. Meneses spent the rest of the season with the Red Wings, posting a .793 OPS. He's maintained a below average strikeout rate, but he still coaxes very few walks, and his Hard-Hit rate had dropped each of the past two seasons. Meneses signed a minor-league deal with the Mets, but with the club bringing back Pete Alonso and Jesse Winker, there probably isn't a spot on the opening day roster. Read Past Outlooks
