Johnson threw his curveball a career-high 71.6 percent of the time last season, but his strikeout rate dipped below 30 percent for the first time since 2018. It was still well above-average (84th percentile), but the 33-year-old's perennially high walk rate - it has been in the 18th percentile or worse over Johnson's last three full seasons - leave little room for regression in the category, especially if he's to take on more high-leverage opportunities in 2025. Johnson has climbed Atlanta's bullpen hierarchy by default due to Joe Jimenez's knee injury and A.J. Minter entering free-agency, so it's reasonable to assume the right-hander would be one of the team's primary setup men in 2025, at least as the roster currently stands. Read Past Outlooks
