Milner came home to Texas during the offseason after four years with the Brewers. The Fort Worth native was a big part of Milwaukee's success in 2023, posting a 1.82 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with 17 holds. Things went the other way for Milner last season, but much of that might be attributable to bad luck. His 4.73 ERA obscures good numbers under the hood. The left-hander's expected ERA was a run-and-a-half lower (3.24) while his barrel (2.7 percent) and walk (5.2) rates were elite. It will be a new-look bullpen in Arlington after four relievers bolted for free agency, including closer Kirby Yates.
