Faedo has struggled as a starter in the majors but has maybe found a role as a decently reliable reliever. For his career, the 29-year-old has a 5.00 ERA as a starter compared to a 3.44 ERA out of the bullpen. Last year was Faedo's first time working primarily as a reliever, and he saw his average fastball velocity tick up about 1 mph from 2023. Based on those results, Faedo should once again slot into Detroit's bullpen in 2025. He should see some high-leverage work, but the righty figures to be behind the likes of Jason Foley, Tyler Holton, Will Vest and Beau Brieske for save opportunities. A middle relief role isn't particularly friendly for fantasy purposes, so Faedo will have limited appeal, though his value may be higher in leagues that count holds. He could also see a spike if he starts to get save chances at some point. Read Past Outlooks
