Through his first few seasons in the majors, Wesneski looks more comfortable as a reliever than a starter. Wesneski also has a higher career K/9 and lower batting average against as a reliever, with his stuff seemingly playing up in shorter stints. That will likely compel the Cubs to keep Wesneski locked into a relief role in 2025, which could benefit their bullpen but hurt his fantasy output. The 26-year-old is at least capable of covering multiple innings out of the bullpen, and he could snag some wins as a result, though long relievers are hard to count on for consistent fantasy value.
