Hart last appeared in the majors in 2020, appearing four times (three starts) for Boston in the pandemic season. He spent last season with the NC Dinos in the KBO, compiling 157 innings over 26 starts. He posted an encouraging 2.69 ERA and 1.032 WHIP, with a 28.8 percent strikeout rate and 6.0 percent walk rate. To put things in perspective, the quality of play in the KBO is considered a tad below Double-A, so a 31-year-old hurler should dominate at the level. That said, Erick Fedde parlayed his year in the KBO into a successful return to MLB, though Fedde was better than Hart during their tenure in the majors. Someone will likely take a chance on Hart, at which point he's someone to track. Until then, he's not worth a roster spot, even in deep draft and hold formats. Read Past Outlooks
