Tiedemann underwent Tommy John surgery in late-July of 2024 and is unlikely to pitch in the majors until 2026. It was a predictable procedure for the talented southpaw, as he'd dealt with elbow and shoulder trouble since spring training of 2023. At his best, he'll show two monster offerings in his fastball and slider along with an above-average changeup and good enough command to start. Tiedemann could get some rehab appearances in after his 23rd birthday in August, but considering he's only logged 13 career innings at Triple-A and will likely have significant rust to knock off, a big-league debut in 2025 seems highly unlikely.
