Martin opened the season with Double-A Birmingham before being promoted to Triple-A Charlotte after five starts. He spent the rest of the season shuttling between Triple-A and the majors, often serving as the extra man for a doubleheader, but also serving as a fill-in starter or bulk reliever. Davis was serviceable in his role, but a 10.8% K-BB% speaks towards his minimal potential to be anything more than roster filler. In Triple-A, he did fan 66 in 53 innings, but he also surrendered 11 homers. The White Sox have a solid five-man rotation, but very little depth so Martin could fulfill the swingman role. Unless he shows a significant uptick in strikeouts, Martin is well off the fantasy map. Read Past Outlooks
