Perkins broke out in 2024 after his season was delayed by a lat injury. The powerful 6-foot-1 righty had a 2.96 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 100 strikeouts in 76 innings at Double-A as a 24-year-old, and he got better as the season went on. His changeup and curveball could use some refinement, and he will face questions about his strike throwing until he proves himself in the majors, just due to the fact he's already 25 years old. However, the pitcher Perkins was down the stretch last year looked like a potential mid-rotation starter in the big leagues, so he's a nice sleeper in dynasty and in redraft. Read Past Outlooks
