Mejia could ascend to pitching prospect royalty in 2026, but his dynasty value could also crash and burn. The uber-projectable 6-foot-3, 185-pound righty boasts a pair of 98-mph fastballs and a wicked slider and was the talk of the Florida Complex League last summer. He walked too many batters in the FCL (14.2 percent) and at Single-A (11.8 percent), but at least his control is trending in the right direction. In addition to a 29.5 percent strikeout rate, Mejia logged a 54.2 percent groundball rate in 52 innings across the two levels, as he has the type of overpowering stuff to miss bats while also generating weak contact. He'll need to keep his delivery synced up while improving his changeup. Mejia isn't close to a finished product and is extremely risky, but he's got frontline potential if it all comes together.
