Houston Astros AAA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Pecko closed the year with a 1.55 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 38:8 K:BB in 29 innings over his final six starts in the Pacific Coast League and looks poised to help the MLB rotation in 2026. A 6-foot-2 righty whom the Astros selected in the sixth round of the 2023 First-Year Player Draft out of a small college, Pecko's stock has steadily increased in pro ball. He impressively navigated the harsh conditions of the PCL after a couple rough outings following his Aug. 5 promotion from Double-A Corpus Christi. It can't be overstated how impressive his late-season run was for Sugar Land, as only three PCL pitchers threw 70-plus innings with an ERA under 4.00. Even when factoring in Pecko's bad starts, he had a 3.09 ERA and 2.99 FIP in 35 Triple-A innings. Pecko averages 94 mph on his sinker (touches 96 mph), but it plays above its velocity due to excellent late movement. His 83-mph slider and 89-mph cutter are his top two secondary offerings. Pecko qualifies as a sleeper in dynasty and redraft formats. Read Past Outlooks
