Canha split the 2024 campaign between Detroit and San Francisco and finished with a .242/.344/.346 slash line, seven homers and seven steals in 125 games. It ended a run of three straight seasons with double-digit home runs, though his bat was still a hair above average with a 102 wRC+. He still showed plenty of patience with an 11.5 percent walk rate, but he regularly hit the ball into the ground with a career-high 49.3 percent groundball rate and career-low 9.6-degree launch angle. A .214 xBA and .311 xSLG also indicate some regression could be in store. Canha has been a steady veteran presence and is entering his age-36 campaign, but his .690 OPS in 2024 was the first time it's been below .745 since 2015. He should still provide some real-life value as a complementary piece but doesn't seem likely to move the needle for fantasy at this point in his career. Read Past Outlooks
