Once a promising power/speed threat with solid plate skills, Biggio has been unable to build on his first two seasons, and it's not for a lack of chances as he's logged between 222 and 338 plate appearances in each of the last four seasons. Last year, nothing went right as his Hart-Hit rate and exit velocity cratered while his strikeout rate increased. Biggio is an extreme fly ball hitter, so his BABIP is naturally low, and he's been unable to develop ample power to take advantage. Signing with the Royals won't help him in that regard since Kaufmann Stadium suppresses homers, but his ability to play second and third could help Biggio stick in a reserve role. Even so, he's not draftable unless he hits the ball harder in the spring. Read Past Outlooks
