Tauchman was the veteran presence the younger White Sox roster needed in 2025 and he effectively filled that role both on and off the field. Tauchman had a solid 115 wRC+ that included a .263/.356/.400 triple-slash line with nine homers and 40+ runs as well as RBIs. Tauchman is a serviceable major league reserve outfielder who can play both corners against righties, but his overall numbers would suffer with increased full-season exposure. His older body failed him a few times this season as he had a hamstring strain, groin soreness, and a right knee meniscus tear in September which required surgery to repair. Tauchman's affordable arbitration rate of $2.5M for 2026 likely locks him into a similar role with the improving White Sox for 2026, but his fantasy viability is limited to deeper AL-Only leagues.
